Our Wealth Management Team has more than 300 years of combined experience in the financial services industry. With diverse backgrounds in areas such as equity and fixed income research, financial analysis, fiduciary matters and both ERISA and non-ERISA retirement plans, we have the experience and expertise to handle all of your financial needs.
Cydney Shapleigh, CTFA
Cydney has more than 25 years in the financial services industry and joined Bank of New Hampshire in 2007. Cydney has been managing money for individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations for the last 23 years. She obtained her degree in Business Administration from Southern NH University and is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute Personal Trust Program at Boston College and obtained her CTFA (Certified Trust Financial Advisor) designation in 2011. Cydney is chairperson of the Town of Alton’s Board of Selectmen. She is also a member of NH Banker’s Association Trust Board and the NH Estate Planning Council.
Charles P. Mathews, CFA
Charlie joins the Bank of New Hampshire team with more than 28 years of investment management experience. Charlie is responsible for managing portfolios of high net worth individuals and institutions. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Charlie is a graduate of Clark University in Worcester, MA and holds an MBA from Suffolk University in Boston. A proud member of the NH community, Charlie is Past President of Hopkinton Rotary Club, currently President of the Hopkinton Library Foundation, and has been active as a non-profit board member, most recently at Future in Sight in Concord.
Frank H. Anderson
Frank has over 25 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. He is responsible for delivering banking, financial planning and investment management solutions to families, municipalities, institutions and not-for-profit organizations throughout New Hampshire. Frank is a native of Nashua and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Amherst College. He currently serves as Chairmanof the City of Nashua Public Works Retirement System. In addition, he is a Past President of the NashuaExchange Club and was a graduate of the inaugural class of Leadership Greater Nashua.
Arlene C. Folsom, CTFA
Arlene has over 30 years of experience in the financial and trust services industry. She is a graduate of the ABA National Graduate School and obtained her CTFA (Certified Trust Financial Advisor) designation in 2009. Arlene holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Franklin Pierce College, and she has frequently attended the annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning. Arlene is a member of the NH Bankers Association Trust Committee and the NH Estate Planning Council. She is currently serving on the Audit and Finance Committee of Families in Transition.
Robert Magan, CFA
Bob has over 25 years of experience managing money for individuals, non-profits, charitable organizations and municipalities throughout New England. Bob earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Plymouth State University and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He is active in the community and currently serves as President of Rise Again Outreach in Loudon.
Michael St. Onge, CIMA®
Michael brings more than 20 years of financial and investment management services experience to Bank of New Hampshire. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Resource Economics from the University of New Hampshire and Masters in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. Prior to joining Bank of New Hampshire he was employed as a portfolio manager with TD Bank. Michael currently sits on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of Manchester and NH Children’s Trust.
Dona G. Murray
Dona has over 30 years’ experience in the financial and investment services industry. She graduated with Cum Laude honors from Occidental College with a double major in Economics. Prior to joining Bank of New Hampshire, Dona spent over 15 years with Wellington Management Company in Boston as a Vice President and provided investment counsel to private trusts. Dona is a graduate of Leadership Lakes Region and serves as a Director on their Board. In 2017, Dona received Bank of New Hampshire’s Quality Service Professional of the Year Award. That same year she received United Way’s Employee Campaign Coordinator of the Year Award. Dona is an active volunteer in the community.
Therese C.D. Linden, CSOP, CTOP
Therese has been in the banking and wealth management industries for over 40 years. Prior to joining Bank of New Hampshire in 2004, Therese held the position of Securities Operations Officer at Banknorth Wealth Management Group. Therese is currently responsible for overseeing the support staff and the daily processing of transactions in the Wealth Management Department, which ensures smooth and careful management of clients’ assets. Therese holds an Associate of Science degree from Plymouth State University. She is a graduate of Cannon Financial Institute’s Securities Operations program at the University of Notre Dame. She was also awarded the Certified Securities Operations Professional (CSOP) designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers. Therese is active in the community serving as a Supervisor of the Checklist for the Town of Ashland.
Dirk R.H. Richardson
Dirk has over 30 years of experience in financial services and in the retirement plans industry. He is responsible for overseeing our “Roadways to Retirement” program offered through Wealth Management. “Roadways to Retirement” specializes in the management of employee-based retirement plans for businesses, tax-exempt and government organizations with a focus on investment management, employee education, and plan design. Dirk holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Skidmore College where he concentrated in management and economics and has completed extensive programs on Employee Benefits Design and Funding at Bentley College and financial planning studies through Boston University. He is an Accredited Retirement Plan Consultant.
Cynthia Day, CTFA
Cindy has over 37 years of corporate trust and wealth management experience. She attended Cabrini College, is a graduate of the Cannon Financial Trust School program and in 2018, obtained her CTFA (Certified Trust Financial Advisor) designation. Prior to joining the bank, Cindy held positions at Wells Fargo Bank, N. A., Mellon Bank, N. A. and The Vanguard Group specializing in corporate trust, personal and charitable trust administration and family office arrangements. Cindy currently sits on the board of Altrusa International of Meredith and serves as their treasurer. Cindy is also a member of the NH Estate Planning Council and graduate of the 2018 Leadership Lakes Region Program.
